Much has changed since the show last opened its doors eight years ago. The megatrends of digitalisation and sustainability are reshaping the industry more than ever.

The world's population will continue to grow. A megatrend that is of crucial importance for our industry. This is because the number of people belonging to the middle class is increasing continuously and significantly. This group has a higher income and will buy or order more packaged goods. As a result, the demand for ever more individualised, varied and high-quality packaging is growing.

Today and in the future, printing will be sustainable, digital and modular – for more agility, cost-effectiveness and efficiency. In short, for more possibilities.

At drupa, we will be using a complete packaging workflow – and having daily live shows on our stand. Close up you can experience the latest innovations in digitalisation and modularisation. Examples will include when production press data is made available in real time via the cloud or AI further increases the productivity of our machines based on sensor, machine and order data.

At the “Touchpoint Packaging” section, we will show you how packaging is conquering the metaverse and at the “Touchpoint Sustainability”, among other things, an energy management system for reducing and optimising energy requirements during ongoing production.

Koenig & Bauer has the right solutions. Our printing technologies from offset, digital and flexo to speciality printing are used for almost all substrates.

This gives more opportunities to offer customers the best solutions.
